THE Big Poppy
A very special limited edition cupcake
Available during the baseball season
Executive Pastry Chef Jennifer Warshaw created The Big Poppy
as a delicate lemon poppy seed cake topped with signature Sweet frosting
infused with lemon and topped with a yellow candy dot.
Introduced on June 9th at the UNICEF Children's Champion Award gala
honoring David Ortiz at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, The Big Poppy
was available in the Sweet store at 49 Massachusetts Avenue,
Boston through October 19, 2008.
A portion of the proceeds from each Big Poppy sold will be donated to UNICEF
and earmarked for children in Latin America and the David Ortiz Children’s Fund
benefiting children in the Dominican Republic.
